About Mike

A lifelong educator and U.S. Army veteran, Mike has dedicated his career to public service. After earning his B.A. in Mathematics Education from Greenville University, he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1970, serving as a Pershing Missile Specialist at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, until his honorable discharge in 1972. He then began his career in education, teaching high school mathematics before transitioning into leadership roles. He ultimately served as Superintendent of Schools for Northern Wells Community Schools in Indiana for 18 years.
